New Sign Replaces Unintentional Landmark

April 17, 2003

Center board members helped Ryan Suzuki, owner of The Sign Source, to erect a new sign announcing the Center's intergenerational plans. The original sign (below) had been erected in the mid 1990s and had become a landmark in the community.

Board members (L-R) Glenn Kosaka, Hiroshi Arisumi, Stanley Izumigawa, Dan Waki, Dorothy Nakata, Center executive director Barbara Watanabe, and Richard Kibe help Ryan Suzuki (on ladder) install the new sign.

The original sign was placed in the project archives.
