Now it's time to start setting the base tiles for the building. A shipment of the tiles sits next to the Preschool building. We are using 12 inch tiles for the lower courses, up to the sill line.	"It is exciting to have construction of our Center underway. But in a larger sense, the Center is not about bricks and mortar, rooflines and pillars, or courtyards and playgrounds. It is about passing on the values of the Nisei veterans – their patriotism, their humble fight for civil rights, their love of their community."
