Then it's hardhat time again as work resumes, and the bucket continues loading and pouring gravel to form the base layer.	"It is exciting to have construction of our Center underway. But in a larger sense, the Center is not about bricks and mortar, rooflines and pillars, or courtyards and playgrounds. It is about passing on the values of the Nisei veterans – their patriotism, their humble fight for civil rights, their love of their community."
