Construction material is getting cleared away in preparation for final grading and landscaping. Lights and ceiling fans in the Adult Day Care building. Fencing is on site and awaiting installation. Finishing touches on the restrooms are underway. This week the partitions were installed, and mirrors are going up. Next week the toilets and vanities will be installed.	"It is exciting to have construction of our Center underway. But in a larger sense, the Center is not about bricks and mortar, rooflines and pillars, or courtyards and playgrounds. It is about passing on the values of the Nisei veterans – their patriotism, their humble fight for civil rights, their love of their community."
