Our Center cleanup in preparation for our hosting of the 100th Infantry / 442nd Memorial Service. Help us add spit, shine and polish to our Center for our veterans, wives and widows.
Operation Last Chance/Veterans Get Together

Psychologist Richard Sword will host another get together for 100th, 442nd and MIS veterans. This is a chance for Nisei veterans to learn more about Veterans Administration disability benefits, and to just talk story. For more information, contact Dr. Sword at 573-0800.
65th Annual Memorial Service

The annual memorial service to honor the first 100th Infantry Battalion KIA on September 29, 1943 is held each year on the Sunday closest to that date. We are honored to once again host this very special event.
Our guest speaker this year is Major General Robert Lee, who was appointed appointed as the Adjutant General, State of Hawaii, on January 1, 2003. As the Adjutant General, he serves as director of a diverse organization which encompasses both the Hawaii Army and Air National Guard; the State Civil Defense; the State’s Office of Veterans Services; and the Youth Challenge Academy, a residential mentorship program for at-risk youths. In addition, he acts as the Governor’s advisor on Homeland Security issues.

Collections Day and MIS Reunion

We invite veterans, wives, widows, children, and grandchildren to our fall Collections Day. Please bring photos, documents and memories – we’ll copy, scan and record as we build our collection to teach future generations about the Nisei soldiers. And a special invitation to MIS veterans to have a mini-reunion.

Bring your children and grandchildren to the annual salute to our country’s veterans. Maui’s Sons and Daughters of the Nisei Veterans' Floyd Nagoshi speareads the organization of this annual thank you to all of the veterans in our community.
Center Clean up for the New Year
